About: - Ambedkar Buddhist Association of Texas (ABAT) was founded on 14 October 2004. In 2004, a small group of families ambitiously sought to build a community within the Texas area that had like-minded beliefs about Ambedkar Buddhism. ABAT celebrates Dhamma Chakra Pravartan, Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar Birth Anniversary, Buddha Birth Anniversary. Arranges Dhamma and social lecture series. Propagate Buddha Dhamma through Dr. Ambedkar thoughts in Dallas (US). This organisation is a connected organisation of Ambedkar International Centre.
