Background

Kusum Kailash is a cultural singer of Assam. Kusum Kailash has completed his education from Dibrugarh University. Kusum Kailash is a folk singer of Assamese language and has also sung in many films. Kusum Kailash , along with All Assam Students' Union and many leftist student organizations, opposed the CAA bill brought by the Government of India and spread confusion over this bill, calling it against the citizens.Many artists including Prosenjit Lahon, and Kamla Gogoi shared the stage and sang songs.
