Mizoram University is a central university established on July 2, 2001. The Mizoram University Students’ Council (MZUSC) is an organization that operates under Mizoram University. MZUSC has demanded the immediate appointment of a regular Vice-Chancellor (VC) and has intensified agitation by shutting down some colleges affiliated with Mizoram University. Additionally, they have boycotted all academic and non-academic activities at the university. The agitating students also burned a large poster of Union Hum
