Gauhati University Students’ Union (GUSU) is a student based organizarion. Gauhati University Students Union also known as Post Graduate Students' Union. Gauhati University Students’ Union infulenced students to boycott their classes to protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in 2020. The Gauhati University Students’ Union burned copies of the CAA gazette notification on the road outside the varsity and raised slogans against the BJP in 2020.
