Background
The Campus Front of India (CFI) was a banned Islamist organization launched in New Delhi on November 7th, 2009, at the National Students Convention. Muhammad Yusuff, from Tamil Nadu, was the founder and president of this organization. M.S. Sajid served as the president before the organization was banned. The Government of India banned this organization in September 2022 because the Enforcement Directorate concluded that a substantive amount of funds were raised by the PFI, along with affiliated organization

The Government of India banned this organization in September 2022 because the Enforcement Directorate concluded that a substantive amount of funds were raised by the PFI, along with affiliated organizations like the CFI, to run terror camps, engage in money laundering, and create a riot atmosphere by promoting enmity between various religious groups. The CFI actively participated in anti-CAA activities across the country. Additionally, the CFI was involved in hijab and burqa protests against the CBSE in 2015.
