Harsh Mander is an Indian author, columnist, researcher, teacher, and social activist. He started the Karwaan-e-Mohabbat Abhiyan with victims of communal or religiously motivated violence. He is the director of the Center for Equity Studies, New Delhi, a research organization. He is the director of the Center for Equity Studies, New Delhi, a research organization. Served mainly in the tribal states of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh for nearly two decades. After the Gujarat riots, Mander left the service in 2002. Harsh mander is associated with Adivasi Chhatra Sangathan (ACS).
