A Maharashtra-based movement called the Anti Dowry Movement was established on May 1st, 1973 by the late D. B.Mamasaheb Kulkarni. The organisation works on dowry issues, but in addition to this, behind all of their social awareness campaigns, they mislead people about Indian culture.
