About: - Adip Kumar Phukan is the son of Late Harendra Nath Phukan. He is 62 years old and is a resident of House No-10, Nirupama Bhawan, Silpukhuri, Guwahati. He is married to Sabita Devi. She is an employee of the Central Bank of India. He is an author and a freelance journalist. The former editor of Assamese weekly Sadin and Executive Editor of Assamese daily Pratidin. Phukan is also the working president of the Asom Sangrami Mancha (ASM), a political party in Assam. Adip was also a supporter of Akhil Gogoi who was involved in some terror activities as per NIA.
