Background

Nagarikatwa Aain Songsudhan Birodhi Mancha, also known as the Forum against the Citizenship Act Amendment Bill, is a group involved in protests against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill. The forum, along with other organizations such as the anti-CAA Satra Samaj and Sammilita Sangram Parishad, has been active in demanding the release of Akhil Gogoi and opposing the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill. Dr. Hiren Gohain serves as the Chairperson of this forum.
