Background

University of Connecticut, also known as UConn, is a public land-grant research university. The University of Connecticut began as an agricultural school in 1881. Its motto is "Oak, Strength". Radenka Maric is its president. The Daily Campus is UConn's newspaper. Manisha Desai is the Professor of Sociology and Asian and Asian American Studies, University of Connecticut, USA participated in a seminar with Vibhuti Patel.
