Background
MIT Open Documentary Lab (ODL) is an interdisciplinary research lab housed within the Comparative Media Studies/Writing (CMS/W) department at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Founded in 2012, the lab brings together storytellers, technologists, scholars, and media artists to explore new forms of non-fiction storytelling enabled by emerging technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, interactive media, and spatial computing.
