Background

KhushDC is a volunteer-run grassroots organization dedicated to serving the South Asian LGBTQIA+ community across the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) metropolitan area. Founded to provide a safe and supportive space, the group organizes community-building social gatherings, activist initiatives, and educational workshops. KhushDC advocates for the intersectional human rights, visibility, and empowerment of LGBTQIA+ individuals with heritage spanning South Asia and its global diaspora.
