About: - Students Against Hindutva Ideology (SAHI) (formerly known as Students Against Hindutva or Holi Against Hindutva) is an intercollegiate network of student activists and youth organizations primarily across North American university campuses. Founded in late 2019 by Yale University student Shreeya Singh, the movement mobilizes students to oppose Hindu nationalism (Hindutva), authoritarian governance, majoritarian violence, and systemic religious and caste discrimination in South Asia and its diaspora. SAHI raises awareness and builds transnational solidarity through student-led campus protests, educational campaigns (such as the national #HoliAgainstHindutva campaign), open letters, and political advocacy.
